Firefox should stop being complicit with ransomware hackers.

[Simon_M]

I've fallen victim of a ransomware attack.
The hackers sent me a link to a website, and they told me that I would have one single opportunity to read the instructions on a web site and send them some crypto in order to rescue all my important data.
The instructions explicitly said that if I didn't complete the challenge in a certain amount of time, or if I closed the browser window all my data would be lost!

My data was of the utmost importance, so it would have been worth paying any amount of money. I would have even sold a kidney to save that valuable information.

However, when I was just one step before completing the challenge, Firefox nagged me with this silly stupid "Restart to Keep Using Firefox" thing. No, that's not silly at all, it's CRIMINAL!

I was unable to open my crypto broker account to make the payment.
Now all my important data is lost, thanks to Firefox.
