Firefox Search Engine

Microsoft has Bing, Brave has Brave Search, Google Chrome has Google Search. It would be cool to have a Firefox search engine. I understand this could have an impact financially, but I still thought it would be worth raising as it would be nice to have Firefox branded search.

I find it impossibly frustrating that I cannot add a search engine of my choice rather than being stuck with Bing and Google, I forget the other but give me CHOICE

New search engine from Mozilla

Honestly, I'd like to see a new search engine so I don't have to use Google Search or Bing, because I really trust Firefox and would love to see a Firefox-made search engine.

Firefox search engine for premium users

so my idea would be if Mozilla launched their own search engine, similar to what Brave has done with Brave Search. Right now, Mozilla relies heavily on funding from Google, which is a bit ironic given their strong stance on privacy. But instead of staying tied to that model, Mozilla could offer a dual-path system  a free search option powered partly by partnerships like Google so they can still keep their google funding this can be used by casual users, and a premium, paid search engine for those who truly value privacy(like me). The premium version could offer ad-free, fully private results with no data tracking this would be a real alternative for users willing to invest a few dollars in their digital freedom. This way, Mozilla could gradually build true independence from Big Tech influence, while giving users a clear choice between convenience and complete control. It's a move that could redefine Mozilla’s mission in the modern internet age and maybe even set a new standard for ethical search engines. Currently at the moment I use FF with Brave search engine and I'd like to see a mozilla one in the future.
