I use Firefox 98.0.2 (64-bit). Is there a file containing all the Firefox browser print setup settings for header & footer, which I can copy from one PC over to another PC?  The Firefox browser print setup settings for header & footer on one of my PCs seem to have changed, and I can't get them back to what I want!  A simple single file containing all the desired settings would be VERY HELPFUL. HELP!!!

Yes and no? The settings are saved in a file named prefs.js but that file also contains information specific to your profile, such as your pinned sites on the new tab page, and local add-on IDs. It's not completely safe to share between profiles.

You can view the settings using an internal page:

(A) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button accepting the risk.

More info on about:config: Configuration Editor for Firefox. Please keep in mind that changes made through this back door aren't fully supported and aren't guaranteed to continue working in the future.

(B) In the search box in the page, type or paste print_header and pause while the list is filtered

Firefox should display the default left, center and right headers, as well as those same three preferences for each printer. You can Print and select the Save to PDF destination to archive the list to PDF.

(C) Repeat with print_footer

I used to used to be able to customize the footers. Now it is no longer possible to do that. I also can no longer make the choice of printing just the footer but not the header. Please bring back the feature which allows me to customize the footer and to print only the footer without printing the header. Thank you!

Why will Mozilla not fix this?  This problem has been around for many years.
