I also want to throw my hat into the ring. There are some things that Chrome does better than Firefox, and I will list one area where Firefox could improve in future releases.
Browser History Page
Mozilla should seriously consider adding this feature to Firefox because it directly addresses a significant gap in user experience. Users today expect a browser that not only protects their privacy but also offers them the tools they need to navigate their online activities effectively.
Why isn't there an about:history in Firefox yet? Implementing a detailed history page that opens in a new tab, similar to Chrome, would empower users to easily track their browsing habits over time. This isn't just about convenience; it's about giving users the ability to find important information from weeks, months, or even years ago. Limiting history to just 7 days feels outdated and restrictive, especially when users often need to revisit older content for work, research, or personal reasons.
Adding this feature would significantly enhance user satisfaction and loyalty, making Firefox a more appealing choice for those who value both privacy and functionality.
