I also want to throw my hat into the ring. There are some things that Chrome does better than Firefox, and I will list one area where Firefox could improve in future releases.

Browser History PageBrowser History Page

Mozilla should seriously consider adding this feature to Firefox because it directly addresses a significant gap in user experience. Users today expect a browser that not only protects their privacy but also offers them the tools they need to navigate their online activities effectively.

Why isn't there an about:history in Firefox yet? Implementing a detailed history page that opens in a new tab, similar to Chrome, would empower users to easily track their browsing habits over time. This isn't just about convenience; it's about giving users the ability to find important information from weeks, months, or even years ago. Limiting history to just 7 days feels outdated and restrictive, especially when users often need to revisit older content for work, research, or personal reasons.

Adding this feature would significantly enhance user satisfaction and loyalty, making Firefox a more appealing choice for those who value both privacy and functionality.

This would be a really useful feature for Firefox. I use multiple browsers to see how they’re built, what features they have, and why people choose them.

Commenting to note there is a more robust history view in the "History > Show all History" menu (cmd-Y on mac) that displays more comprehensive history information.

This pops up a new window (which also contains bookmarks and tags), so maybe there is an opportunity to also offer a history view inside a browser tab, similar to Chromium browsers?

@un_l0ckd That is not the same dude Just because there is a "Show All History" option doesn't mean it is better It still pops up a new window which is just annoying Chrome's history is way better because it opens in a new tab and shows a lot more details like the exact date and time you visited each site.

Firefox's history viewer feels outdated and limited It doesn't give you the same level of detail and having it in a separate window is just inconvenient It should open in a tab It is cleaner and easier to navigate that way Plus you get a better overview of your browsing history without the clutter Firefox really needs to step up its game and offer a more comprehensive history view like Chrome does.
