By making the en-gb version of Firefox available as a Snap package, users can easily install and use Firefox with their preferred language settings. Although users can install the English (UK) language afterwards, it still means they cannot uninstall the English (US) version. This results in the dictionary used to frequently resets to English (US) instead of English (UK), meaning that it keeps telling users they’re making spelling mistakes when they’re not actually. By making the en-gb version available as a Snap package, users can avoid this issue and use Firefox with their preferred language settings more conveniently.

Another solution would be to allow users to uninstall the language locale which came with the Snap (English US), preventing the issue of the dictionary in use being reset back to English US.
