Firefox Cross-Device Upload

When I need to upload a photo or file on a website, files are usually on my phone while I'm working on my laptop. Currently this is painful.

Proposed feature

Add an option Upload from mobile directly in Firefox desktop's file picker dialog.

• User clicks it → a clear QR code appears.
• Scan the QR with Firefox on mobile.
• Firefox mobile opens the file picker automatically.
• User selects the file(s) on phone.
• File transfers securely and appears in the desktop upload field.

Benefits

• Extremely simple and fast.
• No extra login or cloud storage needed.
• Works with Firefox Sync for device authentication.
• Better privacy than similar features in other browsers.
• Supports photos, videos, documents, and multiple files.

This would make Firefox feel much more modern and seamless across devices. Edge has a similar feature, but Firefox can do it cleaner with its focus on privacy and open standards.

Please consider adding this. It solves a very common real-world problem.
