Firefox should include a built-in adblocker, just like what Brave, Opera, etc have done. This should be something all browsers should include

In-built ad blocker like Brave or Librewolf

Can we get an in-built ad blocker like Brave or Librewolf(For those who don't know librewolf it is a privacy-centric firefox fork) In Brave they have their own adblocking engine which I believe is based on U-block origin though I am not sure. The librewolf way is also fine, where they bundled the browser with U block origin. I personally believe that the Brave way is better. Perhaps can work it the U-block origin and adguard devs about it. If it is added I think it should have its own setting page. Also I think on default it should allow non-tracking ads. I think it should block trackers.

Integral an Efficient Advertising Blocker

I'm switching from this wonderful browser, which I've been using for more than 10 years, just because any ad blocker I add is detected by Youtube and makes me disable it. I hope they improve that, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Brave at the moment and it hasn't caused me that problem.

ร€ l'attention de l'รฉquipe de dรฉveloppement de Mozilla Firefox,

Cordialement,

Atma L.A.

To the Mozilla Firefox development team,

I am writing to you to submit a suggestion that I consider not only essential to improve the user experience of Firefox, but also to reinforce its commitment to online privacy and security. As a loyal Firefox user for several years, I have always been attracted by the philosophy of the browser: openness, personalization and respect for privacy. However, faced with the rise of intrusive ads and malicious tracking practices, more and more users, myself included, are forced to add third-party extensions to block ads. A browser like Brave has integrated this functionality natively, and it meets a growing demand among users concerned about their online security. I firmly believe that a native ad blocker in Firefox would be an ideal solution to the current concerns of users. This would provide several benefits: Enhance user security by blocking malicious ads or tracking scripts, which can expose users to online risks. Improve user experience by eliminating distractions from invasive ads and speeding up browsing. Preserve privacy, a core Mozilla principle, by preventing tracking for advertising purposes. I understand that this could disrupt the ad-based economic ecosystem, but I believe that a balanced solution, such as a stronger private mode or an option to enable based on user preferences, would balance this need with respect for content creators. I encourage you to seriously consider this suggestion for a future version of Firefox, to continue to position
