Firefox should include a built-in adblocker, just like what Brave, Opera, etc have done. This should be something all browsers should include

This is excellent news, just like the idea that I had years ago of installing a native translator, today we have one, this is a fact that Firefox listens to its users and this makes them want it more, it is a logo of all of us that we want to improve this browser more and more every day.

Why's this message in Spanish ?

The way I have configured Firefox I don't see no ads on any websites especially YouTube. uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, CanvasBlocker, facebook container, Unhook and Enhancer for YouTube.

I'm staying with Firefox forever. I configured Firefox to provide extreme protection and privacy. uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, CanvasBlocker, facebook container, Unhook and Enhancer for YouTube. I don't see no ads on any websites especially YouTube.

Br**e  is generally considered a legitimate, safe, and privacy-focused Chromium-based browser, but it has faced significant controversies over its crypto-centric business model and past unethical, but not illegal, practices. Concerns centre on Brave inserting referral links, pushing crypto ads, and having a 2.9/5 star rating on Trustpilot

By default, Brave is far ahead of Firefox in terms of privacy and user data protection, and is comparable to LibreWolf, a fork of Firefox. In fact, Firefox should be just like its fork.

I disagree. uBlock Origin is working very well, and there is no way a built in adblocker can block ads as well as uBlock Origin. And it is a very well known and trustworthy extension. I think it would be better if Firefox suggested installing the uBlock extension during setup.

Firefox has native extension support, unlike Chromium based browsers. That's why Chromium based browsers can only rely on built-in adblockers. Firefox should utilize the potential of extensions.

Maybe it would be good for Firefox on iOS only, or in case of ditching MV2 entirely.

Finally, Mozilla is working on integrating an ad blocker into Firefox https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2013888

Yes I agree. Mullvad Browser has uBlock Origin from setup.
