Firefox ad-blocking in iOS Firefox

The main reason I still use Safari on iOS / iPadOS is that there are good ad-blocking options available to Safari but not to Firefox.

Firefox Focus seems to have a capable ad-blocker included, but this is not available for the standard Firefox app to use.

It would be great if Firefox included an option to use the Firefox Focus ad-blocker in its settings.

Right thanks. I have no problems at all with Firefox the way it is now. I use browser extensions with extremely low CPU usage to block ads on every website especially YouTube. Brave has a lot of bad reviews on reddit.

I have a Samsung Android Phone. The first thing I did when I bought it was install Firefox for Android phones and set as default. I've set it "Strict" and I have uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger. No ads at all.

Effective immediately. If I get emails that are negative about Firefox especially about in the inbuilt Ad-Blocker I won't reply. I will use Firefox forever.

Firefox must try add blocking like Vivaldi browser. They have lots of lots  lists

I used to use Firefox for everything on Android (loved how it synced with my desktop and could use uBO). I got an iPhone and regret having to use Brave and give up sync, but even with "strict" blocking in Firefox, the ads that get through and inability to fix the layout make it less usable. I know Apple restricts browser vendors a ton, but how does Brave pull off such thorough ad blocking?
