Filters should be able to apply across multiple mail accounts

I've got 6 email accounts linked up in Thunderbird. Many of the filters I create (for example, tagging newsletters as such) I want to be able to have apply across all of those accounts.

God yes. This so needs to be done! I have almost 20 accounts and some of my filters have several lines of criteria. It is ridiculously unweildy to have to input multiple filters with multiple criteria for multiple email addresses.
