Hi there,
Firstly, I just want to say that I absolutely love your product and choose it over other email clients. I recently had to use Outlook briefly on a new PC while waiting for Thunderbird to be installed, and it reminded me of one feature from Outlook that I really miss.
I receive a lot of emails and regularly sort them into folders and subfolders. One thing Outlook allowed me to do was type the name of a folder directly into the folder selection window when moving an email. It would search for the folder, even if it was nested several levels deep.
For example, instead of having to navigate through `Accounts → Suppliers → Gas`, I could simply type “Gas”, find the relevant folder and move the email straight there.
It might seem like a small thing, but when you manage a large number of emails and folders, it saves a lot of time and clicking around.
I thought I would share this suggestion with your team because it would be wonderful to see this functionality added to Thunderbird in the future.
Thank you for developing such a great product. I genuinely prefer Thunderbird, and this is the one feature from Outlook that I wish it had!
Kind regards
Jenny Malcolm
