Dear Firefox Team, I am writing to suggest a potential improvement to the New Tab Page (NTP) that I believe would significantly enhance user experience and efficiency. Suggestion: I would like to propose adding a small, customizable section directly below the main search bar on the New Tab Page. This section would display a row of icons or text links for the user's most frequently accessed bookmarks (or "pinned" bookmarks). User Scenario & Benefit: Currently, when opening a new tab, users often want to navigate to a commonly used site (e.g., email, work dashboard, or social media). While the existing Top Sites grid serves this purpose, it is often filled with automatically generated shortcuts rather than specific bookmarks. By allowing users to pin a few key bookmarks directly under the search box: Efficiency: It reduces the need to move the mouse cursor all the way down to the bookmarks toolbar or open the library menu. Intent: It separates "search intent" from "navigation intent." The search bar is for queries, while the area below it can be for immediate, one-click navigation to trusted sites. Customization: It gives power users more control over their NTP layout without cluttering the visual space. I envision this as a simple, clean row (similar to how Chrome handles pinned bookmarks or the old Firefox bookmark bar concept) that appears only if the user enables it in about:preferences. Thank you for your time and for continuously making Firefox a powerful and user-centric browser. I hope this suggestion is helpful. Best regards, Keen
