Feature request - Save page for offline

I want to replace chrome with firefox. But as a student the most common features I use is to save/download the offline webpage. This feature is not present in firefox. It is one of the basic features which a browser should have.

Saving a website for Offline use can be quite difficult, but if you just want a snapshot of the current site state, you might find this useful.

If you are fine with just snapshoting an image of the website, you might also be ok with this

You can save pages to Mozilla's Pocket feature for later reading. (Look for "Saves" tab in Pocket.) However, personally, Pocket disappoints me because of the unmanageable clickbait "suggestions" that appear on the home screen ("Pocket-Worthy Reads", "Popular Collections", "Today’s Pocket Hits", "Recommended Reads", "Life Hacks"). Pocket is bad for me if I can't clear the Home screen; I'm very distractible and the LAST thing I need is such distractions when I'm trying to get something done. But it might work for you.

Please add a feature to save pages for offline viewing and reading. This is a very helpful feature that I can not use a browser without it. But apart from that I've used firfox for about a week and I love how it works

Would love to see this in Firefox Mobile! I'd especially like it as a per-tab option, or maybe it could be an option at the collection level.

My use case is catching up on long articles or short stories during a flight. I often save links like that as bookmarks or just keep the tab open for later, but on a flight, when I'd have time to read them, they're usually not accessible. (Sometimes I remember to open such links before the flight which will put them in the cache, but it's unreliable and I never know how many tabs this will work for.)

Having an explicit "Save for offline" feature would make this much easier.
