Hello Firefox team,

I'm writing to suggest an improvement for the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature, especially for users on a multi-monitor setup running a Wayland session.

My experience has shown that on X11, window management tools and even some configurations allow the PiP window to be automatically placed on a specific monitor. However, with the shift to Wayland, this is no longer possible due to its different window management architecture.

Currently, the PiP window generally remembers its last position, but there's no way to configure it to automatically move to a second monitor when it's activated. My use case is simple: I want the PiP window to pop up on my second screen every time I activate it, without me having to drag it over manually.

I believe adding a feature to configure the default monitor for the PiP window would be a valuable quality-of-life improvement. This would be a great solution for users with a multi-display setup on Wayland, making the PiP experience more seamless and efficient.

Thank you for considering this request!
