Firefox has a “Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above” checkbox under Fonts settings. When disabling this checkbox, all fonts in all websites will be forcefully overridden by fonts selected for corresponding languages.

However, there are two problems for this settings:

  1. Many special fonts are used to render icons, e.g., Luminous Symbols is used in Google Gemini.
  2. Many websites severely rely on specific fonts to render their pages.

Therefore, we should have two blacklists to cancel the disabling of the checkbox, one for fonts, and one for websites. Fonts in blacklist will never be replaced by customized fonts; websites in blacklist will never have any fonts on it being replaced by customized fonts.

Similar feature is also requested in:[Feature Request] Please allow pages to choose specific fonts when using a custom font
