Extensions access to browser content menus.

I would like to customize the Folder Properties UI or add a right-click selected Folder | Set List Address option to popup an window to set the default To: field when creating a new message in the selected folder.

AI lead me to a browsers.ContextMenu code logic that failed due to the object not defined.  An earlier version of TBird had an extension to perform the task but it worked with the Chrome-based XUL UI logic.

Is this possible in the current TBIRD?

If a custom UI is not available, is a map of Folder-ID::List-Address possible when clicking New Message to set the To: field to the defined folder-id::list-Address?
