EXTENSION: Allow a second row of bookmarks toolbar items in #firefox

I really like using the bookmarks toolbar in #firefox for quick access, and I have bookmarks there with no titles – I distinguish them solely by their favicons. Unfortunately, space is very limited and depends on the device’s resolution; before long, the ones that can’t be displayed disappear into a drop-down menu and are no longer accessible via quick access. I would therefore like to have a second bar containing the remaining items from the bookmarks toolbar, and only then hide the rest in a drop-down menu.

It might even be useful for end users to specify how many items or rwos they want to display on the bookmarks toolbar before the items that cannot be displayed are hidden in a drop-down menu.
