Strollin' around
Status: New idea

Loading pages can take a while, and while it happens the "Stop" button is displayed.

There are many cases we as users know that the page won't load (the simplest case is if you forgot to turn on your wifi, but there are many others, specially if you're a developer).

In such cases, I hit "stop" on the browser - why keep it waiting for a response I already know it's not coming, right?

In such case, the "Refresh" button is not available, and we need to re-open the address box, and hit enter again to have Firefox retry to open the page. My suggestion is to simply enable it.

An alternative (for the nostalgics) would be to bring back the "Go" button (deceased somewhere near the end of the 90's or beginning of the 20's). The "Go" button was replaced by the <ENTER> key in the address bar, but could very much be optional.

Thanks!

Yes, this has many times been mentioned, where "Stop loading/ESC" was constantly visible next to Reload/Refresh.

Now, on Page loading, annoyingly it just shows "Reload" or "Refresh" when we needed Stop loading (ESC). Now, instead of doing what it suppose to do, you can't see Stop the (ESC).

Heck, you can try using keyboard "ESC" for Stop loading, but it's just fails. I mean, I like it when it was hardcoded separately on older versions, where each is "NOT" and **bleep** "COMBI" from browser. That is not even useful at all. I mean each had "Stop loading icon" and "Refresh/Reload icon". Now, they are trying to save coding into combi useless hardcoding.

FF currently has static icon issues and even contents jumping around just because you are using Sidebar.

-I take my review of "Sidebar right side" jumps less, it wasn't issue before, now it is when you use Sidebar. I mean auto hide and auto expand is good, but not being in SoMe that also uses Sidebar like the FF does. Then content things just adjust based off display and things just start to jump to adjust. Might, as well remove completely FF Sidebar. I love using it, but I hate it when things adjust afterwards.
