.eml support

There appears to be no .eml support in Thunderbird for Android and that's the only thing that bothers me after making a switch from Samsung Email, which allowed saving emails in .eml file format. That's why, as of now, I have some important, work-related conversations saved in .eml format on my device but no way to view/open them.

I would like to see .eml supported in Windows (10, 11).

I do backup my emails via moving them to local folder on desktop thunderbird. 
The local folder on my desktop computer is then sync to my nexcloud and from there to my phone.
It would be great if I could open this backuped emails on my phone.
