E-mail threads top level entry - oldest vs. first unread vs. newest

Hi,
I was wondering for very long time why I don't like the threaded view - I think I get it. The thread top level entry is not getting bold and the time of it doesn't change when something arrives into the thread.

The top level entry gets only underlined, but it's not sorted to the top (as I have the pane sorted by date). Is there any way how to change the collapsed top level entry of the thread to contain either first unread or perhaps even better - the newest e-mail DATE on it? And bold, if anything in the thread is unread?

The top level time "THR Test 2"  should be bold and list 16:26 when collapsed in my opinion (or to my preferences)

If not, is it doable by addon?

Please vote for this if you are interested about the threading order, because through a series of twists and turns this idea has lost it's votes.
