Dragging Multiple Selected Tabs to a new Window Should Move All Tabs

(Old Idea actually, I could swear this used to work a few updates ago) - The maneuver in question : you shift-select a number of Tabs and drag them to form a new window. Strangely the result currently is only the active tab comes along to the new window - the other selected tabs are left behind.

Ideally the entire batch of selections is moved - I know there are ways of grouping etc. but those require more clicks and fuss, the simple - shift/ctl-select-drag gesture is about as effortless as it needs to be.

This works fine for me? Firefox 153 on macOS, shift-select/cmd-select and dragging brings all the selected tabs to the new window or to join another window.

That's good to hear, suggests that it is at least intended to work. 

Are you using a mouse or trackpad? I'm not getting the desired behavior on multiple windows machines, 10 & 11 - mainly mouse, but also trackpad on one laptop.

It seems like this stopped working around the recent introduction of the new tab-grouping functionality. Prior to that I was doing this move all the time.
