Different Notification Sounds for different Email accounts (Thunderbird)

The idea is to allow the option for each email account to have its own Notification Sound (just like the mobile TB app has it by default).

This helps to distinguish between received Emails on different accounts without having to open Thunderbird running in the background.

There was an old Add-On which did just that, which no longer works (since 2022) called "Mailbox Alert".

An alternative could be to have an additional "Perform Action: Play Sound" in the TB Mail Filters. This would help to play different notification sound on filtered Emails to manage the correspondence much better.

It would really help raise the productivity of Thunderbird if there was an option to add different Alert Sounds on each separate Email account.

Currently, there is only one global Alert Notification Sound for all incoming Emails but the mobile Thunderbird app allows to set separate sounds.

Another useful alternative would be to add the additional "Perform Action: Play Sound" in the Mail Filters. The user can mark which email address should trigger the specific Alert Sound.

This functionality would help to manage the correspondence much better, knowing if an email is important or not.

Hope this idea finds support as thousands of users did find that functionality useful in an old add-on that no longer works ("Mailbox Alert").
