Delete messages

Quite simply,
I would like the "delete" button to always be in the same place in the banner ..
It's more practical for deleting large numbers of messages

The delete key on the keyboard never moves and works well for me.

As of today (21st of May 2024) with the current Thunderbird version (115.11.0) a delete button can be added to the top of the screen by rightclicking at the very top of the screen -> "Customise ..." (this also works for other similiar buttons).

I am not quite sure what you mean with "banner".
