Customize the behavior when opening links in the sidebar (new tab, default)

I would like all tabs to open in a new tab by default, instead of overwriting the current content.

For example,

- History
- Bookmarks
- etc.

I find it annoying that clicking a tab closes the active tab. For instance, you might be working in it and want to look something up in your history, and suddenly the content is closed.

I would reverse the logic: the context menu should offer "Open in the same tab," while the default is a new tab.

These days, PCs and laptops have enough RAM to handle many tabs open.

The logic for the Firefox sidebar's behavior should be a Firefox option.
