Could an offline mode in Android Firefox allow access to local html files?

Many Firefox users have created extensive local off-line html web style documents for local only viewing.

In my case these are only for family viewing on various devices such as tablets.

Desk top Firefox still allows access to these html files for display after creation or editing.

So why has display ability gone from Android Firefox?

Could solution be an offline mode?

Maybe this should be a bug as it affect all ANDROID FIREFOX users wanting to display their locally written html files

Firefox for Mobiles latest version will now display local html files so problem solved.
