configure fingerprinting of local files

I ran into a problem because I was trying to display a file using a custom font. The font was not used because of fingerprinting. The help explains how to disable fingerprinting for a specific web site. However, the instructions do not work when the file is local, as no shield is displayed. I would like to be able to turn off fingerprinting for local files. Actually, is fingerprinting of local files even useful? If not, then it should be disabled automatically.

Yep struggling to keep using Firefox because of this I use Photopea as Adobe sucks, but if I cant access local fonts (on my own machine) this is an issue. Please fix!
