I find it unfathomable that in 2025, there is no option to assign calendar entries a colour code for the displayed entry title within Thunderbird! I understand the limitations by Google for importing a Google calendar into Thunderbird and having it not import the colour codes which are displayed on their calendars. What I dont understand is why Thunderbird, in 2025 and after years of this same issue and people wanting a simple feature implemented that we are still ignored. To say that it is impossible to create or edit and calendar entry in Thunderbird and not be able to assign it a colour is just crazy. I am curious what the current excuse is for not implementing such a gargantuan improvement to QoL. Does anybody have a fix that has been implemented outside of Mozilla as they seem not to care about this issue and the users effected?

Yes. That similar idea was raised in 2022!  Its obvious the programmers are off in their own little world or fiefdoms as this lack of an obvious needed feature, told by user comments up and down the internet starting many, many years ago have been totally ignored. I would think 5 or so years of working on the issue would have produced something besides silence and zero progress. Yes I sound sarcastic but its 2025 and the calendar looks like something from the 90s.
