Closing and reopening the AI chat from the sidebar always refreshes it

Lets say I am chatting with Gemini/Claude from the side bar and for a moment, I want to put the chat away. When I click on the chat again, boom, everything refreshes, my ongoing chat is gone and I have to manually open the chat again. What's the point of having the side then? 

Furthermore, I cannot add other sites/tools in the side bar (I was looking to pin whatsapp/discord chat/instagram/google calendar so that I can quickly access things on the go without having to open a whole new tab)

I would recommend to take some inspo from Opera in this regard as they do a pretty good job with their Side bar and overall UI design of it.

I agree with this, it should be fixed.
