Clean up past calendar entries

Hello,

after I was recently forced to restore an ics backup and that due to the number of entries (calendar entries of several years) turned out to be very problematic (error messages or import aborts), I now ask myself if there is a way to automatically delete entries that are older than e.g. 3 months. Of course this can be done manually, but this is more than just time consuming as I found out. There was once the extension "Purge Events", but this was discontinued in 2020. I think that is a necessary function to clean up old entries and wished a feature like that would be implemented.
