I am very surprised that Mozilla has no calendar application (whether built into thunderbird, like the desktop app, or separate) on mobile available.
As more and more people are moving to FOSS solutions I believe that a calendar app supporting Events Notifications and Tasks through CalDAV would be amazing!
I would really much like it if lightning could be added. It has become my main calendar client on desktop and I can't seemed to be satisfied with any calendar apps on mobile (Google calendar do the tricks but I'd like a FOSS oriented calendar)
Yeah, actually if I can have my own calendar that synchs through my Mozilla account with the desktop that would be optimal. I could get rid off my Outlook.com calendar, which I currently use to sync with my phone, laptop and desktop.
I'm able to connect to my nextcloud calendar with thunderbird on desktop, would love to have this functionality in some form or another on my phone as well
And if it could open like a separate app, it would be extremely handy for me, to have mail and calendar next to each other. In the Microsoft App, I always needed to leave the current email first, to then swap to calendar.
I am looking for at calendar, and loves the desktop version, but if i need to continue using it, I also need it on my Thunderbird app on android. Then it would be perfekt. Really hope that it gets supportet.
