I wish I could have the same Bookmarks I use in the Desktop toolbar on my start page in iOS. Safari does this the right way. I see no use in having separate pins on the mobile device. In general the bookmarks should work more like those on the desktop. There is absolutely no need to have a separate "Mobile Bookmarks" folder. The iOS version also has a reading list, which doesn't seem to be synchronized in any way.

@SBenoitThe opening of new tabs on return can be disabled via Settings => Homepage. Set this to "last tab".

Hi there are a number of entries (with kudos) on getting a bookmarks bar a la Safari on the iOS version of Firefox. Could we merge this requests under one so the kudos adds up. This would really improve life for a lot of people.Cheers C

I use firefox on all my desktop systems but on mobile (iPad and iPhone) I dont. Only because the bookmarks are a pain to reach.

I wont start using firefox mobile until they are implementing a bookmark access right on the homescreen like safari does. One single button with a pop up list with all my synced bookmarks from the desktop version...

I use Firefox on an iPad 12.9 and a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the lack of a bookmark toolbar is a major annoyance compared to other browsers (Safari, Edge etc). These are way more like desktop experiences than mobile and should behave accordingly (and yeah, bin the Mobile Bookmarks, just a major annoyance all-round). It takes FOUR clicks to get to the same list of bookmarks I can just see in front of me on Mac/Linux/Windows. Thanks!

Why is this placed on Mobile-Android section?

I have seen quite a few different posts/websites that mention the fact that this option was removed from Firefox for iOS/iPadOS with no mention (or knowledge of) if it will return in future updates.  I would like to see the same, but I am not expecting this update anytime soon, unless part of a larger update.

The lack of this feature (coupled with the separate mobile bookmarks) are what prevent me from using FF beyond dev work. I rely on bookmarks to do everything. Safari and Vivaldi are both tops, imho, re: that. If FF improve on that note I'm in totally. Otherwise I have to keep it at arm's length.

Hi,

That's exactly what I was looking for, I use firefox on windows 11 and I would love to use firefox on mobile as well if the homepage had the bookmarks that I have on the pc homepage, just like what happens with safari. Hopefully this possibility will be included soon

Why can't Firefox sync everything? Bookmarks toolbar, tabs, passwords, everything? Including the layout, and sync all open tabs to all devices. It shouldn't matter what device I'm using; please sync the bookmarks toolbar from the desktop to my iPad and iPhone.

Hey @SCT, there's a similar request for that here: Save All Settings When Sync
