Bookmarks - assign your own Default Folder for all new Bookmarks

Would be great if you could assign your own Default Folder for all new Bookmarks to go to instead of them being added in the Folder you last happened to use.

Create distribution folder
Move policies.json to distribution folder
Move the distribution folder to the folder containing firefox.exe [the program installation folder]
Stop Firefox start Firefox

Your browser is managed by your organization, it's normal

This solution is a bit complicated for me. Would just like it to be an option on the menu. I currently organise all my new bookmarks once a week, but after I've done that it then stops using Other Bookmarks as the default, because I've been working in another folder & I have to search for any new bookmarks to see where they went. This does waste time.

That looks great. Is there an equivalent for Android too, because I use Firefox on phone as well as PC? I searched, but couldn't find same on Android Add On list. Many Thanks.

you can set a default save folder or specific save folders based on urls regluar expression matches.
