Background/hide toggle for Picture in Picture

I really like picture in picture mode.

But when I want to use it to its fullest, to watch multiple streams at once, the PiP views are sometimes in the way.

It would really help if there's a way to toggle PiP views to the background(*), or hide them completely for a while.
(*) Or it could just disable the forced always-on-top.

Then you'd have access to the normal windows to add more streams, or do some other work briefly.
