Automatically hyperlink emails in composed messages

For background I use outlook on a macbook pro for work. When typing an email in the body of an email it used to automatically hyperlink when you hit the space bar after an email. Now I can't even manually hyperlink it! And there are no settings for me to fix this. PLEASE FIX THIS IT'S SO ANNOYING!!!!!
