Automatically deleting history and cookies

It would be helpful if in the next Firefox updates you could set from the settings to automatically clear cookies or browsing history after a certain period of time. Right now the only way to clear the history or cookies is to remember to do the deletion after 2-3 months

Absolutely, the ability to setup cookie deletion after a customizable amount of time after last use, like 2 weeks, 3 months and so on...

I have been looking for this for some time now.
