Automatic profile restoration

Thunderbird updated and my user profile went poof! Instead of me having to hunt for for my missing profile, a restore or rollback button should be added.

Certainly, even if this is normal for users with technical skills on desktop machines, "most users these days are not very technically skilled," so an easy way for anyone to "bail out" would be desirable.
