Auto-split two tabs by default when using "Split Tabs"

While I use the "Split Tabs" feature an obnoxious amount of times, every time I have only two tabs open, Firefox requires me selecting the alternate tab still. This adds an extra interaction step which feels quite unnecessary in a common use case.

What I am suggesting?
If exactly two tabs are open in one window. choosing "Split Tabs" should auto split the only two tabs in that window without requiring further prompts.

Not only does this reduces the interaction cost, but it also improves workflow efficiency and responsiveness.

I assume not all users would want this be enabled by default so a "toggle" preference would be utmost for manual users.
