Currently, on Firefox for Android, when you visit a website featuring dogs – let’s call it dogs-com – and that site contains three links: dog01.html, dog02.html and dog03.html.
If, on the dogs-com page, I select ‘Open dog01.html in a new tab’, I end up with tabs for dogs-com and dogs-com/dog01.html.
Now, whilst still on the dogs-com page, if I select ‘Open dog02.html in a new tab’, I end up with tabs for dogs-com, dogs-com/dog02.html and dogs-com/dog01.html.
Finally, on the dogs-com page, I select dog03.html to open in a new tab, and I have tabs for dogs-com, dogs-com/dog03.html, dogs-com/dog02.html and dogs-com/dog01.html.
However, if I do the same thing on my computer – that is, first open dog01.html in a new tab, then dog02.html in a new tab, and then dog03.html in a new tab – I’ll end up with a different order of tabs.
dogs-com, dogs-com/dog01.html, dogs-com/dog02.html, dogs-com/dog03.html
As far as I know, this can be changed in about:config, but Firefox on Android has about:config disabled, so it’s not possible.
Could you add an option to choose how new tabs open in Firefox on Android?
