I love Thunderbird and have been using it for years!
I'm also very progressive in looking for ways to improve the foundational tech behind our current Web2 infrastructure.
For the last 12 months I've been looking into the potential of Internet Computer Protocol, and very strongly suggest that the dev team look into this.
It's an actual, working "world computer" that offers a completely new paradigm for large scale web based systems, built entirely using blockchain technology. It's not vaporware/hype - it's real and working now.
Check it out as I've barely scratched the surface of what this can do. I can easily imagine Thunderbird systems running on this tech.
