Allow users to turn off auto update for extensions

I would absolutely love for this feature to be present.

I have reservations about any auto update feature, and I would like to have an option to update manually.

Sorry if this is already a feature, but I found nothing about it online for mobile FF.

fyi, you can turn off addon updates for each addon individually on about:addons or disable it globally.

@Anonymous You can't do that on Firefox for Android, which is probably what @MC_Man_CZ is talking about when mentioning "mobile Firefox". The reference you give is only correct for versions of Firefox that give access to about:config, and Firefox for Android doesn't do that. I strongly support this feature request, as automated updates might be a security liability as recently illustrated by the "ShadyPanda" scam https://thehackernews.com/2025/12/shadypanda-turns-popular-browser.html.
