Allow users to delete 'important' and 'starred' folders from Thunderbird

I want to be able to fit everything on one screen when using multiple email folder addresses, and when expanded it would help if I can delete folders I never use, like the starred and important folders. Fine if they're preloaded for people but why can't I delete them if I want to?
