Allow users to customize the Firefox New Tab page with HTML widgets

[scorpiooff]

I’d like Firefox to let users customize the New Tab page by adding their own widgets, for example by writing or editing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

This would make it possible to create widgets tailored to individual needs—such as a to-do list with progress percentages, notes, or other personal tools—and place them directly on the New Tab page. Ideally, users could add, edit, move, and remove widgets through a simple customization interface.
