Not sure if this is a feature request or should be a bug report.
I am using Firefox 149.0.2.
In previous discussions on this forum, users talked about a Boolean option 'browser.fullscreen.exit_on_escape" that allows the user to disable the use of the escape key to exit fullscreen mode. This option is not present in my about:config menu. I see that the user can create and add a new preference, and I am able to create and add this preference; but it only half works (if I open a new window, the option doesn't take effect in the new window. I have to toggle the parameter with the window already open, and then it affects the current window - sometimes)
My assumption / intuition would be that if the Firefox developers intend to expose a setting, it would already have a default value in about:config and thus would be searchable, for the sake of discoverability of config options; so I am wondering if it was removed from the config menu deliberately. The fact that the feature is apparently broken makes me wonder further if it is no longer being maintained. Can someone clarify?
Lastly, with the new experimental feature of about:keyboard, maybe the feature could be migrated there, as it seems a natural home for it.
