Right now if you have a day with no events the Today pane will show "Today" and "Wednesday". This can be very confusing because at first glance it looks like you have events tomorrow. Only when you pay close attention and realize that "Today" is Monday and Tuesday has been omitted do you realize that you have a free day.

In this screenshot it is easy to miss that I have a lazy weekend this week!

Note: In the photo there are no ongoing multi-day events, but the day will still be hidden if there are. (Presumably only if they don't start or stop on that day.)

It would be nice to have an option to show all days in the today pane to make it very obvious when you have free days and making counting headers an effective way to tell how many days in the future an event is.

It could either just be the day header with nothing underneath (the next days header immediately) or even having a little space taken up with a "No events" to add a bit more visual space and catch the eye. Either would be fine for me (I would probably slightly prefer "No events" explicitly but I can imagine that some people prefer to save the space.)
