Add websites to Home Screen on iOS

Firefox on iOS misses the functionality to add a website to your homescreen. Safari has this functionality and it’s extremely useful. 

In Safari:

 

If this can’t be implemented separately from desktop PWA support then this request should be merged into https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/bring-back-pwa-progressive-web-apps/idi-p/35

This seems impossible as Apple has disabled it in other browsers
