First off, I love Firefox and use it on mobile and Desktop, and whilst on Desktop one can just have multiple windows open to effectively have groups, on mobile that is not the case. Due to this, the recent-ish new addition of groups is one of my absolute favorite updates for Ff mobile, but I have 2 specific improvement ideas for it, the first and more important one being this one.

Due to that, if one has multiple groups, but one wants to frequently access a tab in a group that has been created a while back or maybe even the very first ever group, due to the groups only being able to be sorted by creation time currently, one has to constantly scroll all the way down just to get access to it.

In order to solve this issue, I propose that when a user first holds a group long, it enters a mode like when shifting tabs around, where one profile is created where the groups are ordered like the user wants them to according to their importance to that user, then, maybe on the top right right below the grab tabs from other devices tab, a button is, where one can switch back and forth between user configured tab grouping and the default time based one, with the last sorting being the one that opens the next time the group tab is opened as well.

Imo only a single user defined profile is needed, which would also simplify the button into not having to open a different menu where one needs to select which sorting they want, however, as most users would presumably stay in a single ordering for 99% of the time spent in that window, if it were a button between userdefined///timebased///A->Z///Z->A, that would probably also not be a bad idea, but my main point is letting users order them according to importance like how tabs can be ordered.

If this idea could get implemented, groups on moblie would be almost perfect in my opinion, with my second idea making it completely perfect for me.
