Add shortcut for AI feature

The AI in sidebar looks good, but it would be really awesome if you add a shortcut for more usability. Clicking by mouse every time to open chat is very uncomfortable and takes long time!

Also it would be convenient to open some items from sidebar menu on the left side, whereas AI opened on the right side. Thanks!

How about Ctrl-Shift-.

This would be an easier key combination when typing. Also, have the cursor focus default to the typing box of your default chatbot and submit the query by hitting Enter.

How can this shortcut be disabled? Toggling the "AI Chatbot" option to "off" seems to just get turned back on again when I press the shortcut. I think disabling the Chatbot should remove this shortcut as well

I second Judes. The chatbot sidebar still tries to show up even if it is disabled and locked in about:config via Group Policy under Mozilla - Firefox - Preferences

So far, my only solution was to switch to Zen browser. It is vertical tab UI only, but lets you rebind or disable any keyboard shortcut in Firefox. Also supports UserChrome modification which is a no-no word round these parts.

I found that this is fixed in Firefox 136, and the shortcut is now disabled too once ml.chat.enabled is turned off.
