This is my second suggestion post, so don't expect this one to be perfect.
Hello Firefox!
Today I'm here to show a new feature that I can make a lot of reasons on why it's a good addition to Firefox:
Firefox Web-Games.
What will Firefox Web-Games be like? Good you asked, because Web-Games is a feature that can be added into Firefox via the internal address about:games or Home Page --> Right click --> Open Firefox Web-Games. This feature will be a great addition to Firefox for a multitude of reasons, such as:
- Entertainment, even if you're offline: By adding a built-in system full of games that can be played anywhere, amusement on the Firefox browser will not really die out (unless you get bored at the game). On a long road trip? Just type in "about:games" into your address bar and enjoy the games prebuilt into Firefox!
- If you have nothing to do: Bored at just searching up random stuff on the Internet? Maybe just have some fun by taking a break with the Web-Games. In fact, studies show that the right games might help flourish mental health [1]. But wait! There's more reasons!
- Keeping up with competitors: Most competitors to Firefox have games integrated into them: Chrome has the infamous Dinosaur Game (Link to it if you want to try it [CHROME ONLY]), Edge has a few games that you can play, and many more examples. However, if Firefox adds Web-Games, users may enjoy the entertainment that the games provide, which provides more satisfaction from them, and hence, this is one of the effects of adding this feature into Firefox.
Game Concepts
I also do have ideas for Firefox to use for their games if they add this feature:
- Space Invaders: A classic game about shooting alien spaceships with your own spaceships. Endless.
- BEET: A rhythm game where you play as a beet in a garden. Hide from the farmers, escape. Splitted into Levels.
- Halls of the Usurper: An online game where you start out as a peasant and must promote yourself to a royal. Rather it be through marriage, bloody arena fights, or promoting yourself if a royal dies.
I would be happy to add mock-ups, but I kinda suck at making them, so I don't feel confident. And I have a question to the reviewers of this: Am I copying someone else? I'm just wondering right now if my idea accidentally copied someone else.
