Please consider adding 'Emoji' as a font flag to allow users to select a custom emoji font for displaying websites.

Custom per-language font display can currently be selected in GUI via 'Preferences > General > Language and Appearance > Fonts > Advanced > Fonts for…' or through language flags in about:config. What I want to do is add an option for emoji specifically. Custom modification of the UI may be required as there isn't a serif/sans-serif/monospace distinction for the characters.

At the very least we currently have the choice between colour and B/W emoji in Noto, in addition to other system default fonts. As someone who uses the custom font override, I'd like to exert a greater amount of control over emoji display. Thank you.

I fully support this idea. Because I have changed my emoji's on the OS-level, I cannot properly see them inside my browser anymore. This would help me re-enable this again.

I know that my case is a total edge-case, but even without that I would love to have this option. The default Windows emojis just aren't it, in my honest opinion.
