Access GAL in Thunderbird

One of the most obvious missing features in Thunderbird's EWS and Microsoft Graph support is access to the Exchange GAL (Global Address List) for email address autocomplete. It looks like it should be accessible from Microsoft Graph at least, per these two Stack Overflow threads.
